Who we are
Lunker Logic (the app and lunkerlogic.com) is operated by RJH Ventures LLC, Texas, USA. Questions about this policy: support@lunkerlogic.com.
What we collect
We collect only what the product needs. Everything below is linked to your account; none of it is used to track you.
- Email address. To create your account and send you one-tap sign-in links and account messages.
- Name. Shown on your account and your strategies. It comes from your profile or, on the web, from the sign-in provider you choose.
- Account identifier. An internal id that ties your data to your account.
- Precise location. Only while the on-water screen is open and a session is recording: your GPS track and the spot where you log each catch. Never collected in the background.
- Catch photos. Photos you choose to attach to a catch (from the camera or your photo library) and an optional profile picture.
- Fishing logs and gear. Your sessions, catches (species, weight, bait, depth, notes), debriefs, tournament results, and the gear in your Lunker Locker.
- App activity. The strategies you build and the sessions you start, used to run the product, personalize your next strategy, and apply your strategy-build allowance.
How we use it
To run the app for you; to personalize your strategies from your own fishing history (Lunker Logic learns how you fish); to keep accounts secure; and to contact you about your account. We do not use your data for advertising.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting tools. Your location, catches, and photos are private to your account; there is no public sharing or social feed.
Service providers
These companies process data on our behalf, only to provide their service to us:
- Neon — database hosting
- Vercel — web hosting and file storage for catch photos and strategy documents
- Anthropic (via Vercel AI Gateway) — AI composition of your strategy documents
- Microsoft — delivery of sign-in and account emails
If you choose to sign in with Google, Microsoft, or Apple on the website, that provider shares your email address, name, and profile picture with us. If we ever offer a paid membership on our website, payment is handled by Stripe and we never receive your card number.
Public data sources
Water and weather conditions come from public sources such as USGS, the National Weather Service, the Texas Water Development Board, and Texas Parks and Wildlife. That data is about lakes, not about you.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is open. When you delete your account, it is removed from our live systems right away, including your catch photos and profile picture; residual copies in our database provider's encrypted recovery backups expire automatically within 30 days. Network (IP) addresses are used only to rate-limit sign-in and similar requests, within windows of one hour or less, and for nothing else. For security and abuse prevention we keep a record that your email address registered and a log of the system emails we sent to it (date and type only); ask us and we will remove those too.
Deleting your account
In the app: Account → Settings → Delete account. Or follow the steps at lunkerlogic.com/account/delete. Email requests to support@lunkerlogic.com are completed within 7 days.
Your choices
Location access is optional: turn it off in your device settings and the on-water screen will stop recording your track. Camera and photo access are optional and used only when you attach a photo.
Children
Lunker Logic is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the effective date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app.
